Synopsis: It's 1971, Ferdinand Marcos is the Philippine president, and the nuns of the Adoration monastery lead quiet and peaceful lives in a remote town near Manila. Sister Lourdes (Jodi Sta. Maria) joins the monastery as the film opens. Then Sister Remy (Mylene Dizon) learns from her mother that her activist brother has gone missing. She asks Mother Superior Ruth (Fides Cuyugan-Asensio) for an indefinite leave of absence to help her family search for her brother. When Remy's request is turned down, she starts secretly attending meetings of activists in town. Sister Lourdes then decides to join Remy on a trip to town but they fall victim to violence on their way back.
